West Clermont Schools Welcomes Jeremy Pflug as Varsity Football Coach

CINCINNATI, OH — West Clermont Local Schools has named veteran educator and coach Jeremy Pflug as its new head varsity football coach. Pflug brings a track record of building strong programs, developing student-athletes, and leading with purpose both on and off the field.

Pflug has spent his career guiding football programs across Greater Cincinnati with an overall record of 65-29, leading teams to playoff appearances, league championships and record-setting seasons while prioritizing character, accountability and student growth.

Most recently, he served as offensive coordinator and running backs coach at Lebanon High School, where the team led the Eastern Cincinnati Conference in rushing and earned back-to-back playoff victories.

His coaching experience also includes leadership roles at Purcell Marian, Woodward, Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy, Aiken and Landmark Christian. At each stop, Pflug focused on strengthening team culture, raising expectations, and supporting students as athletes and individuals. His work has been recognized through multiple Coach of the Year honors and selections to coach in state and national all-star games.

“Coach Pflug understands that strong programs are built on relationships, trust and clear expectations,” said Athletic Director James Collins. “He brings the experience, energy and vision needed to lead our student-athletes and continue moving West Clermont football forward.”

In addition to his coaching background, Pflug holds multiple Ohio teaching licenses and has served in instructional and school leadership roles, including Dean of Students and Director of Student Affairs. His work has centered on improving attendance, supporting college and career readiness, and helping student-athletes plan for life after high school through college visits, fundraising efforts and scholarship guidance.

West Clermont looks forward to the next chapter of Wolves football under Pflug’s leadership, with a continued focus on student development, teamwork and pride in the program.
